During drought periods, water restrictions are sometimes used to limit how and when we use drinking water outdoors. This helps reduce demand when we’re not getting enough rain. There are four stages of restrictions and range from stage one (mild) to stage four (severe).
If water restrictions are needed, they may only apply to certain towns and not others. This is because each town has varying supply systems.
