Drought in the community
Drought can have a devastating effect on waterways, the environment and economy. It also has social impacts on communities. Drought effects our gardens, public parks, sport fields and street trees. ‘Priority green spaces’ are often chosen during a drought to help with the health and wellbeing of communities.
